| I read the book and I thought it was amazing (if hard to read) and the game looks incredible. The graphics look O-face worthy. I've been recommended the demo but I still haven't played it. Not quite sure why, it just hasn't happened. In any case, discuss. | |

| Well I would like to say lol but I respect pirates to much, and when the game came out they had a comercial for the movie so I assume that it is out in stores but I haven't had a chance to look for it. | |

| Maybe we should all watch it at the same time if I find a livestreaming link. Or probably not. Livestreaming tends to have horrible quality. Anyway, when I'm not so crowded with things to do I'll look for the movie.
In the book, I don't think Beatrice was Dante's wife. I think she was like his mistress or he loved her but she didn't love him. I could be retarded and wrong though.

| In the game they had sex, he went off to war and cheated on her or something evil and she got murdered and sent to hell, but meanwhile he beat the shit outta the grim reaper and stole his scythe (which is bad ass) and then saw her going to hell and followed her. Epic demon battles and awesome kamehameha holy cross attacks. | |

| In the book she was his lover but he never really said, all i know is she was the reason he had to go through the Inferno, Purgatory and Paradise or whatever Dante called it in his books, did you know they were a comedy, Dante's books | |

| Yes, it's the Inferno, then Purgatory, then Paradise. And in the book Dante was just a poet, so he wouldn't beat the shit out of the Grim Reaper. They probably beefed it up to make it more exciting.
And back then, a phrase such as "The Divine Comedy" didn't mean the same thing as it does now.

| Hm... Purgatory is gonna be creepy unless they make it a version of earth, because some believe purgatory is earth. Paradise is gonna be what, angel battles? | |

| Purgatory was described as a gray world in the book. It's the shortest part, I think, because there's really nothing there. It's set so that Purgatory is actually a place ON Earth. Hell and its nine circles are below the Earth and Purgatory is like a tower that stretches into Paradise. | |
